Miracle Mom graduates and pursues career as Respiratory Therapist!

For Krista Austin, the pursuit of a career as a Respiratory therapist was deeply personal. And soon….she will be graduating school and living her dream!

“Being a Respiratory Therapist is something I never thought I would be!,” she said.  “After Madison was born and had all of her respiratory issues and spent 6 years with a tracheotomy. I knew that I wanted to pursue a career in respiratory therapy.”

Krista’s inspiration was truly her daughter Madison, who has probably seen more medical challenges in her short life than most people see in a lifetime.

“Madison taught me so much and drove me to go further and apply what knowledge I had about her respiratory condition and to also learn more. I don’t think I would be graduating respiratory school today if it wasn’t for Madison!”
