MIRACLE MONDAYS – Remington Thomas

Laurie Thomas knew something wasn’t right at her 30-week appointment. “My feet, hands and face were all very swollen,” she said. “I was having a hard time catching my breath.”

When her son Remington’s heart rate dropped, Laurie had to be rushed to St. John’s for an emergency c-section.

“Remington was born on a Friday and I had to wait 24 hours to see him because of the medicine,” said Laurie.

After more than a month in the NICU, Remington finally came home on Christmas Eve. Today, 4-year-old Remington is thriving and enjoying Mac & Cheese, Paw Patrol and Indians baseball!

“The care was exceptional,” said Laurie. “We couldn’t have asked for better doctors and nurses taking care of Remington and myself.”
