MIRACLE MONDAY – Roland Glanert

Roland Glanert’s path to life was unlike most other stories. “I was blessed to be pregnant through IVF,” said Christine Glanert, Roland’s Mom. “It was early on that we found out there could be complications.”

“Labor was able to be stopped a couple of times before Roland was born,” said Christine. “We were thankful to have made it to 30 weeks.”

Today, Roland is a healthy, thriving 3-year-old who enjoys ice skating with Dad and his “gramma” days. “He makes us laugh everyday with his toddler antics,” said Christine. “He says – I go on an adventure. I need my camera!”

Christine remembers the life-saving care Roland received at St. John’s Children’s Hospital. “The care we received was top notch,” said Christine. “We will forever be grateful for the kindness and compassion not only shown to our son, but also to us as parents. I hope he grows up and appreciates how far he has come and what an amazing gift life truly is.”
